Tsurphu prayers from Sagadawa 2006

These prayers (2006) were requested by the Hopi Nation in Arizona USA for peace and harmony for the planet. Also for rain to eleviate the draught in Arizona. The Nation and the Karmapas have a connection from the time the 16th Karmapa visied Hopiland in 1974. Sagadawa Festival in Tsurphu celebrates Buddha's birth and enlightenment. The culmination is the showing of the Karma Gadri Thangka, Tsurphu's major thongdrol, or giant silk applique thangka.
Interesting enough the draught ended with the prayers.
